Erica is lively, fun, intelligent and LOVES flowers and of course Jack too! Choosing a color palette in purply lavender, peachy orange and fun bursts of yellow represents her personality and shows her whimsical side. In September the gardens are thriving and full of dahlias, cosmos, zinnias, celosia, lisianthus and others. As a flower farmer and florist it was exciting to use many of these in the designs. Opal and Jay Wedding Photography is one of the best around and always captured every aspect of the day.
Family Time
Erica’s love of flowers extends to her personal path of becoming a floral designer and had a truly inspired vision for the reception space. Tented weddings are a blank canvas and can be decorated in many different ways. By using floral balls intermixed with Disco balls over the dance floor, bud vases, pin frog arrangements, colorful taper candles for the centerpieces and a curtain of carnations the space was transformed. All the details and coordinating efforts were handled by Kathleen Deo Wedding Planning and she nailed every detail to perfection. Erica added her own touch for the seating chart with florals and white vases. Throw in a caravan bar, an oyster shucking station, a grooving band (Great Family Reunion) and the party was in full swing.
